TheCollaboratory came together to celebrate their official launch and their first ever collaboration with artist David Salle at Public Hotels. The limited-edition fashion and lifestyle collection is a collaboration with celebrated Post-Modern artist David Salle, and features dresses designed by fashion designer Peter Hidalgo, as well as silk scarves, oversized decorative pillows, and two sizes of poufs designed in conjunction with TheCollaboratory co-founders Tatijana Shoan and Scott Fishkind. The event was hosted at in the Sophia room at The Public Hotel, and the cocktail room was decorated with The Salle Collection pillows, poufs and scarves.

During the dinner between courses Shoan conducted a surprise Q&A interview with Salle much to the guests delight. They discussed the collaboration process and how it effects his artist practice, and how commercial offerings and collaborations have worked their way into the art world.
